The three rules that keep attribution alive

Lowercase everything: Facebook and facebook are two rows in every report. Pick one casing and never break it.
Put an immutable ID in utm_content: Campaign names get renamed, ad accounts get shut down. The ad ID does not change, so put it in the link and keep a mapping file from launch day.
Hyphens, never spaces: A space becomes %20, and %20 becomes a typo the next time somebody copies the link by hand.
